Battered brass Fatima Hand necklace.
The hand of Fatima represents the right hand considered to be the hand of the God. It is named after the daughter of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) and his wife Khadijah, Familiar to many different cultures in many parts of the world, it is an amulet used primarily by women to bring protection, peace and blessings.
This product was designed and made exclusively by Just Trade for Manchester Museum.
Just Trade work in partnership with small fairtrade projects across the world. These projects offer life changing training, secure work opportunities and fairly paid employment to marginalised people.
Pendant measures approximately 3cm x 2.5cm and the necklace drop approximately 22.5cm.
