Pack your PJs for a magical night at Manchester Museum, where adventure meets imagination! In collaboration with the Happy Linen Company, we invite families to a prehistoric-themed sleepover 65-million years in the making. Every child will receive a special edition sleeping bag OR quilted sheet set, plus a pillowcase personalised by the Happy Linen Co. in advance - yours to keep as a memento of this unforgettable night! And the best part? Proceeds from every ticket will go towards supporting Royal Manchester Children's Hospital (RMCH).

After the museum closes its doors, the fun begins! Explore the galleries by torchlight, take part in a bed-making competition to win a special prize, marvel at ancient objects, enjoy family-friendly craft activities and end the night relaxing to a film.

Fundraising for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

Manchester Museum is proud to support Manchester Foundation Trust Charity raising funds for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, the largest and busiest children’s hospital in the UK. Funds raised from this event will contribute to state-of-the-art equipment, research, and care for the 280,000 young patients and their families who are treated at the hospital each year.

Families are encouraged to use this experience to raise additional sponsorship for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Set up your fundraising page on JustGiving [justgiving.com] and help make a difference. The participant who fundraises the most money will receive a special goodie bag. 10% of all ticket sales goes towards the charity too!

Food

Please note this event does not include catering. You're encouraged to bring your own snacks and drinks, eating spaces are available in the museum. Due to airborne allergies we ask that food brought on site does not include nuts or watermelon.

What Group Sizes Are Allowed?

There is no maximum group size, however we require a ratio of at least 1 adult to every 4 children. For example:

For up to 4 children, 1 adult required

For up to 8 children, 2 adults required

For up to 12 children, 3 adults required

How Many Adults Are Required to Attend?

Accompanying adults must be at least 18 years old and children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. This event is aimed at ages 3-7, with a maximum of 11 years old. It's up to you whether to arrive wearing pyjamas, or use one of our changing places on site.

Please leave an order note detailing: Name(s) of children for a personalised pillow case, accessibility requirements, ages of children, phone number for the accompanying adult.
