Choose from the tiers below to contribute towards vital collaborative amphibian conservation being carried out by Manchester Museum's vivarium and Panama Wildlife Conservation Charity (PWCC). Proceeds go towards supporting the important education and amphibian conservation interventions by PWCC in Santa Fe National Park, Panama, protecting the critically endangered Harlequin frogs.


Tiers

£10 – Mangrove forest – Receive a digital pack including a sponsor certificate, digital Atelopus varius print and the quarterly sponsor a frog newsletters.

£25 – Tropical Rainforest – Receive a digital pack including a sponsor certificate, digital Atelopus varius print and the quarterly sponsor a frog newsletters. This tier also includes a half hour tour behind the scenes for one person (or one minor with a guardian), along with other ‘tropical rainforest’ sponsors. (Sponsors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guardian)

£50 – Cloud Forest – Receive a digital pack including a sponsor certificate, digital Atelopus varius print and the quarterly sponsor a frog newsletters. This tier also includes a bespoke one hour behind the scenes tour of the vivarium for the sponsor and up to 3 others of sponsor's choice.  (Sponsors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guardian)

 

Please be aware the certificate and Atelopus varius print are digital products - we strive to keep our carbon footprint low and do therefore not offer printed merchandise or certificates at this point in time.

    Perfect

    My three year old grandson asked Father Christmas for a ‘black frog’. He wanted a real one, but instead I made him a cuddly on and framed the photo that came with the sponsorship. Father Christmas explained that real frogs don’t make good pets, and he was thrilled with his ‘pet’ and his picture!

    Dream come true!

    I bought the Cloud Forest tier and I couldn’t recommend it enough for any frog fanatics out there🐸 My group and I had the BEST time doing the behind the scene tour with Bethany (who is exceptionally knowledgeable and extremely lovely)! I had no idea I would have the opportunity to hold some of the frogs, so this was much a nice surprise🥹 This is honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done and I’m desperate to do it again! Thank you so much for the amazing experience Manchester Museum!

    This was truly amazing! Bethany was super friendly and let us hold the majority of the frogs! My partner and I had such a great time and thought it was the best part of our trip to Manchester. All the museum staff were very friendly and helped us get around the museum.

    Best gift for a frog lover!

    Brilliant! Bought as a birthday gift for my granddaughter who is 13 and has loved visiting the frogs since she was 2. Bethany took us on the tour. She was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and it was great to know what goes on behind the scenes. She made sure we had the best experience. My grand-daughter was able to have the frogs & gecko on her hands - she couldnt stop smiling even when a couple of frogs started to jump! Learning about the glow worm research was great too. Many thanks

    This was such a great gift for our son for Christmas, we all loved the fascinating tour behind the scenes in the Vivarium, finding out more about the frogs and the great conservation work the museum is doing. Going behind the 'secret' door and meeting the frogs that we have been visiting for over a decade, was magical.
