The Sculpts Museum Tile: N for Nature's Library

  • £35.00
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Paying homage to Manchester Museum’s history, this tile shows the original internal architecture designed by Alfred Waterhouse, including the iconic staircase, which remains today. Originally created to house natural history collections, these galleries are still home to some of the museum’s best loved animals, including the skeleton of a sperm whale that has watched over museum visitors for 125 years.

From corals to crickets and plants to platypuses, Nature’s Library continues to display some of the museum’s collections of natural history specimens to inspire a deeper appreciation and connection with nature and encourage positive actions that benefit our planet and our wellbeing.

Each Tile is designed in Manchester by The Sculpts. The tiles are screen printed and hand-rolled in Stoke-on-Trent, before being fired in Manchester-local kilns.

Material: Ceramic
Production: Screen printed
